As Ambassador and Influencer Officer you will support communications colleagues across our Media and Social Media teams to engage with ambassadors and high-profile supporters to further broaden Mencap's reach and impact.
You will be managing and deepening existing relationships with a roster of ambassadors and high-profile supporters and encouraging their understanding of Mencap's work. When it's time to create content or PR moments, you'll be managing logistics and activities. Day to day you will be monitoring influencer profiles on social and traditional media, scoping out their involvement with other charities and looking out for credible connections to learning disability. You will provide expert advice to internal colleagues regarding the use of talent and ambassadors across the charity and always strive to find ways to amplify their involvement with Mencap.
At Mencap, we value a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we intentionally plan for the success of our colleagues in everything we do. We welcome applications from everyone, so come as you are and join us. Together we are Mencap!
