Amber Valley Hackney Licensed Driver

to join our team.

This role involves transporting

SEND children

to and from school, ensuring every journey is safe, calm, and enjoyable. Drivers can also choose to take on

private hire work

(airport runs, events, corporate travel, weddings) to boost earnings.

About the Role

As a Driver with SC Travel, you will:

Safely transport SEND children to and from school Provide reassurance, patience, and a professional, caring approach Communicate effectively with parents, schools, and our office Represent SC Travel with pride and reliability Have the option to take additional private hire work
This is a meaningful role where you directly support children and families each day.

Hours & Contract

Monday-Friday, term-time only

Morning and afternoon school runs Part-time, permanent positions available Optional extra hours through private hire

Experience

Previous driving experience is

beneficial

Experience on

SEND contracts

is highly desirable Drivers with a

DBS on the Update Service

are strongly preferred However, experience is

not essential

Requirements

Amber Valley Hackney Carriage Licence (required)

Enhanced

DBS check

(unless already on the Update Service)

Safeguarding training

(provided) Full UK driving licence
Training and support will be arranged where needed.
