Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team on a 58-week project within residential apartment blocks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in
painting
andtape and jointing
. This role involves preparing surfaces, applying paint and finishes, and ensuring high-quality results that meets specifications.Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections. Tape and joint surfaces Apply paint and other finishes using brushes and rollers. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with site management to understand their requirements and provide updates on progress. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Collaborate with other tradespeople as necessary to ensure project completion.
Qualifications
Proven experience in construction painting or a similar role is preferred. Strong communication skills in English. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
Other Details
Weekly pay. CSCS Self Employed / CIS payments. Long-term project with consistent work (58 weeks). DBS check Overtime / weekend work
