Job Overview

The Converters Group is seeking a skilled and reliable

Ames Taper/Painter

to join our growing team. You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality taping and painting finishes across a range of residential projects, including

custom media walls

and

garage conversions

.

This is a key role where attention to detail and finish quality directly impacts client satisfaction and project success.

Key Responsibilities

Tape, finish, and sand drywall joints to create a flawless surface Apply joint compound and ensure smooth, level finishes throughout Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, cleaning, and priming Paint interiors with a clean, professional standard (if required) Collaborate with joiners, electricians, and project leads on-site Maintain clean and organised work areas Adhere to all health & safety guidelines

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in Ames taping and interior painting Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship Ability to read and follow basic technical drawings or measurements Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
