Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Taper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying tape to joints and seams in various construction projects, ensuring a smooth finish for painting and decorating. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Duties
Apply tape to joints and seams in preparation for painting or finishing. Ensure that surfaces are properly prepared and cleaned before taping. Work closely with painters and decorators to achieve the desired finish. Maintain tools and equipment in good working order. Follow safety protocols and guidelines while on site. Communicate effectively with team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
Skills
Proficiency in English to communicate clearly with team members and understand instructions. Experience or knowledge in painting techniques is advantageous. Ability to drive to various job sites as required. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
