THE COMPANY:
Our client is a prestigious wealth firm. They are looking for an AML Alert Management Analyst to join the team on a temp basis.
THE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Undertake review / investigations of alerts generated from various platforms.
• The alerts relate to sanctions, securities, adverse media, politically exposed persons and anti-money laundering.
• Provide management information reports on the volume of alerts received, satisfactorily closed and further escalated.
• To provide guidance to 1LOD staff and management of the business, so that the business remains compliant with all relevant financial crime regulations, legislation, and best practice.
• Assist in the development and strengthening of relationships across the business both front line and other departments
• Escalate in a timely manner any issue or concerns as they arise.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Experience in financial crime alert management or AML operations, with hands-on exposure to payment screening, name screening and/or transaction monitoring systems.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills, with the ability to interpret alert data, identify patterns or anomalies, and make sound, risk-based decisions within defined procedures.
• Good understanding of the UK and international AML/CFT and sanctions frameworks
• High level of accuracy and consistency when reviewing alerts, ensuring appropriate escalation of true matches or suspicious activity in line with policy.
• Sanctions and/or Anti-Bribery and Corruption compliance, including knowledge of UK, EU and OFAC regulatory regimes knowledge
