Fitzpatrick Referrals is looking for an experienced RVN to join our anaesthesia team at our hospital in Eashing, near Godalming in Surrey.



You will provide support to our nursing and veterinary teams with all aspects of anaesthesia, from creating surgical anaesthesia plans to supporting during surgery and recovery. You will be part of the anaesthesia team comprising of an anaesthetist and a team of anaesthesia nurses, including a senior anaesthesia nurse. The anaesthesia team work collaboratively with the nursing team, patient care assistants, interns, vets and other colleagues to meet the needs of patients.



You will be responsible for delivering a high level of care to the patients through the entire anaesthesia/surgical/diagnostic process. When necessary you will also assist with the training and integration of new staff to the team as required, this will include regular CPR and crash training.



Some experience in referral nursing is required but it is not necessary for applicants to have already started or completed an anaesthesia certificate.
