QIC Private Equity (QPE) is seeking a talented Analyst to join our dynamic team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will join a close-knit European investment team of six, part of a global network of 32 professionals across London, Copenhagen, Brisbane, and San Francisco.
At QPE, we partner with leading private equity firms and invest in high-quality companies across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, focusing on the middle market. As a Limited Partner (LP), this role will focus predominantly on co-investments and primary fund commitments.
You'll collaborate with colleagues across North America and Asia-Pacific, gaining exposure to global private equity markets while contributing to co-investments and primary fund commitments.
Key responsibilities
Analyse market trends and identify new investment opportunities.
Conduct deep dives into specific sectors and themes.
Assist with due diligence processes and investment decision-making.
Support the team with internal processes and governance.
Represent QIC at industry events and client meetings.
Collaborate with our global team to ensure efficient data management
.
Key requirements
2-3 years directly relevant experience, ideally with exposure to private debt, infrastructure or banking and understanding of key market trends.
Advanced numerical and analytical skills, with proven ability to produce, review, and analyse financial forecasts and models.
Strong due diligence, credit analysis, and commercial acumen to identify and critically evaluate key credit risks.
A solid understanding of accounting standards, legislation, and financial market products applied in investment decisions.
Exceptional written and verbal communication, including reporting, interpret complex information, and make informed decisions in the face of imperfect information.
The ability to interact effectively with senior management and external advisers to deliver results and foster long-term relationships.
Proven project management capabilities, including prioritisation, time management, and adaptability
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
