Job Description

Pioneer Point Partners are a Private Equity firm based in Mayfair, London. We are seeking a an experienced analyst to join our growing business of 30 people and our busy team of Investment professionals. This is an office based role with the ability to work from home on Friday's.

To be successful in this role, you will :-

Support senior investment professionals across the full private equity investment lifecycle, including origination, execution, and portfolio monitoring

Conduct detailed financial analysis and valuation work (e.g. financial modelling, comparable company analysis, transaction analysis)

Perform commercial, market, and strategic analysis to support investment theses

Prepare high-quality investment memoranda and presentation materials for internal committees and external stakeholders

Liaise with management teams, advisors, and counterparties, including Portuguese-speaking stakeholders and target companies

Assist with due diligence processes and coordination of external advisors

Monitor portfolio company performance and support ongoing value-creation initiatives

Candidate profile:

Strong academic background from a top-tier university (e.g. finance, economics, engineering, or related discipline)

Approximately 3-5 years' experience in private equity, investment banking, consulting, or a similar analytical role

Native or fluent Portuguese (spoken and written) and strong English required

Excellent financial modelling, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
