We are seeking a talented and versatile Senior Android Developer & Business Operations Lead to join our founding team. This unique position combines advanced Android development with business operations leadership. You will be responsible for developing our mobile app and contributing to strategic decisions, digital marketing, and day-to-day operations.

Duties



Design, develop, and maintain a high-performance Android application using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) and Jetpack Compose. Implement clean architecture, best coding practices, and robust testing. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Optimise app performance, ensuring reliability and smooth user experience. Integrate third-party APIs (e.g., payment gateways, geolocation, push notifications, analytics). Keep up to date with the latest trends in Android development and propose innovative enhancements. Web Development (Secondary Focus) Develop and maintain a responsive web application using frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimise for both desktop and mobile. Work with designers to deliver intuitive, visually appealing interfaces. Digital Marketing & Content Creation Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to drive user acquisition and retention. Create engaging content for social media, blogs, and email campaigns. Conduct keyword research and implement SEO strategies to boost organic traffic. Analyse marketing data and refine strategies based on insights. Business Operations & Strategy Develop and maintain Android applications using Java and Kotlin. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Write clean, maintainable code following best practices and design patterns. Conduct unit testing to ensure application performance and reliability. Integrate RESTful APIs to connect applications with backend services. Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimise performance. Stay updated with the latest industry trends in mobile technologies.

Experience



Experience in Application development. Proficient in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP). Experience with RESTful APIs, Firebase, and backend integration. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git). Knowledge of modern web frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design. Digital Marketing & Content Experience with SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing. Ability to analyse marketing data and optimise strategies. Strong writing and editing skills; basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Photoshop) are a plus. Proficiency in XML for layout design. Familiarity with .NET framework is advantageous. Experience in iOS development is a plus. Knowledge of CSS for styling purposes. Experience with Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment. Strong understanding of unit testing methodologies. Proficient in using Visual Studio as an integrated development environment (IDE). Familiarity with SQL for database management. Understanding of design patterns to create scalable applications.
