Job Description

We have a very exciting opportunity arising in our farm park. We are looking for an animal feeder, who will be play a key part in maintaining the daily routine that keeps the animals healthy, happy, and ready for public interaction. This role requires flexibility and ability to drive.

We have a wide range of animals including exotics, small animals and farm animals so this is the perfect opportunity for someone with experience in animal care to work with a wide range of species.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily care routines, including feeding, cleaning, and monitoring the health and safety of animals in our farm park. Actively participate in seasonal events throughout the year, contributing to the success of the farm park activities and engaging with visitors. Drive to veterinary appointments and other suppliers as needed. The team is small so this is a very hands-on role, working on a rota of 4 out of 7 days a week, (mostly week days).
Qualifications:

Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for training and collaborating with team members. Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for transportation. Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed. Strong leadership skills and the ability to build strong working relationships across teams.
