Are you passionate about animal care and looking to make a difference in a supportive veterinary environment? Pawsitive Vet Care in Hartlebury is seeking a dedicated and experienced Animal Nursing Assistant to join our friendly team.

About the Role:

This is a varied and rewarding position supporting both clinical and reception areas. You'll be working exclusively with small animals, helping to deliver excellent care while also ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting veterinary surgeons and nurses with patient care and procedures Feeding, walking, and monitoring companion animals Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of the practice Prepare equipment and assist with sterilisation Supporting reception duties: booking appointments, handling enquiries, taking payments, and greeting clients Managing stock and maintaining accurate records Ensure a calm and caring environment for pets and their owners

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting Confidence in handling companion animals Good communication and organisational skills Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure A team player with a positive attitude Comfortable working in both clinical and client-facing roles Empathy and compassion for pets and their families Willingness to undertake Fear Free training and abide by the principles of Fear Free care

Hours

35 hours per week to include 2 in 4 Saturdays, early finish on Fridays before non-working Saturdays

Salary

National Minimum Wage or National Living Wage relevant to your age

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
