Animal Nursing Assistant
Job Description
We are looking for a Nursing Assistant (ANA) to join us in supporting and assisting the nursing and veterinary staff in the care of patients within our clinics. The ANA role is responsible for providing a high level of cleanliness and to help with the organization of the clinical areas, ensuring the patients are well cared for at all times.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate effective communication, flexibility and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. They must be efficient and have the ability to learn quickly, problem solve and anticipate the team's needs.
The job of an ANA varies from day to day and the clinical team require someone who is highly responsible with a mature attitude to working. We are looking for someone who is both a professional and caring person in work as well as a good citizen outside of the workplace.
A passion for animals, a care for people as well as a positive attitude to life is essential.
If you wish to persue a career in nursing you will also need a diploma in animal management or equivalent
