Are you a caring, self-motivated individual with a deep passion for animals? Do you dream of working alongside dedicated vets and nurses to provide exceptional patient care? We are looking for an animal nursing assistant to join or practice asap, you will be required to work from both our Wokingham and Binfield sites (Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential)

as an animal care assistant, your role will be integral in ensuring the well-being of our veterinary patients and smooth running of the theatres and equipment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:1.
Hospitalised Patient Care
: Providing comfort, feeding, maintaining kennel cleanliness, and taking patients for toilet breaks.2.
Surgical Support
: Assisting in preparing surgical theatres and relevant equipment, as well as cleaning and preparing surgical instruments.3.
Medical Assistance
: Aiding our vets and nurses during procedures, including taking blood samples and treating patients.4.
Laboratory Duties
: Running in-house laboratory tests.5.
Animal Handling
: Comfortably handling all small animals including cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters with care and compassion.Requirements
:Passion for animal care and welfare. Strong teamwork skills and self-motivation. Experience in caring for animals would be beneficial. A valid driver's license for travel between practices. Availability to work 30-37.5 hours per week.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
