We are looking for experienced

After Effects Animators

who want an opportunity to work on a global project.

This is a

freelance role

, starting in June (exact date TBC) until the end of August. This role is suited to someone with animation qualifications and 2 or more years of professional experience.

You will be working with a suite of master template design and animation templates across Adobe Illustrator and After Effects. You must have experience of the process of localising files - taking into consideration new languages and how this impacts information architecture and layout quality.

You will be capable of meeting deadlines, managing your time effectively and communicating regularly with the wider project team. You will report directly to our Creative Services Manager.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Localizations;

working with translation matrices (in Excel) to update master animations. Produce show-ready outputs to accurate specifications.

Team work;

communicate on a regular basis with the project team in order to identify issues, additional capacity and ideas.

Time management;

liaise with lead animator and Creative Services Manager to deliver projects on time.

Organisation and file management;

remain well organised at all times and follow strict file naming and server protocols.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Candidates must have the following skills and experience:

Animation qualification, e.g. degree At least 2 years experience in a professional studio environment Advanced knowledge of Adobe After Effects Experience with voice over and foreign languages Experience working in a team Experience managing time effectively and meeting multiple deadlines
Applications must include a video design reel/portfolio in the form of a link or attachment.

ADDITIONAL FAVOURABLE SKILLS

Experience in an agency environment Experience in quality assurance processes
SALARY

Daily rate: 200-280

(dependent on experience).

Please note, the role will require you to be available as a full-time team member during the contract period. Our working hours are 9:00am - 5:30pm, though during delivery periods some overtime may be required.
