ANPR Camera Programmer & Installer

to join our team.

The Role

As an ANPR Camera Programmer & Installer, you'll be responsible for the configuration, programming, installation, and commissioning of ANPR systems at client sites. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality, reliable surveillance and access control solutions tailored to our clients' needs.

There will be occasional overnight hotel stays and travelling involved.

Key Responsibilities

Install and configure ANPR cameras and related hardware on-site Program and test software to ensure accurate plate recognition and data capture Integrate ANPR systems with network infrastructure and third-party platforms Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues both on-site and remotely Maintain accurate records of installations, configurations, and support tickets Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver projects on time Ensure all work is compliant with relevant health & safety and data protection standards

Requirements

Essential:

Proven experience installing and configuring ANPR or CCTV camera systems Strong knowledge of IP networking (routers, switches, static IPs, etc.) Familiarity with camera software interfaces and configuration tools Comfortable working at heights and using access equipment (e.g., ladders, towers) Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required

Desirable:

Experience with brands such as Hikvision, Mav, Axis, Mobotics or Similar Knowledge of VMS (Video Management Systems) and cloud-based solutions ECS or CSCS certification Basic electrical knowledge or qualifications (e.g., 18th Edition) DBS check or ability to pass one
