Thurrock Council are seeking an ASB Officer to join its specialised ASB and Enforcement Team.
You will be working within a team providing a service for tenants, leaseholders, and Thurrock residents. The team investigates complaints of anti-social behaviour, nuisance and hate related incidents whilst providing support to victims, witnesses, and complainants.
You must have extensive experience relating to the management of anti-social behaviour. This will include managing a diverse workload, adhering to targets, preparing witness statements, and working in partnership with the police and agencies to bring cases to a successful conclusion including attending court hearings where necessary
The Anti-Social Behaviour Team provide a high profile, frontline, high visibility, proactive and reactive response to all aspects of nuisance, Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) and hate related incidents in and related to council tenancies. We are keen to promote social responsibility, community cohesion and awareness of ASB. Understand and apply all requirements of the Public Sector Equality Duty (PSED).
