Antitrust Associate
Job Description
An opportunity has arisen in our Antitrust, Competition and Trade team for a mid-level associate to join our two partners, three counsel and existing team of associates in London.
The role would suit someone who is looking to step up in their career and play a lead role in the team, being a trusted pillar between our clients and the team. You will often be the first point of call for our clients, taking instructions accurately and responding to concerns and queries.
In your core work, you will have the opportunity to work on a balanced portfolio across the full range of competition law matters including litigation, advisory and investigations, transactions (merger control, FDI, FSR), subsidy control, ex ante digital regulation and economic sector regulation.
Having experience advising on merger control, FDI, behavioural matters and investigations is highly desired.
We support our excellent roster of clients on their most business-critical and complex competition law matters. You will be supported by a friendly and talented team with an excellent track record and a global reach, working with colleagues in London, Brussels, Paris and the USA. The team and the broader department and firm is renowned for its collaborative culture and commitment to professional development.
Skills and experience
2 - 4PQE A strong track record of working on UK and EU competition law matters Excellent substantive and analytical skills and the ability to apply them to support innovative and commercial solutions Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster strong client relationships * A genuine passion for competition law and its evolution.
