We are seeking an experienced AP Manager to oversee and manage accounts payable processes within the accounting and finance department for an exciting construction business. This position in London offers a fantastic opportunity to manage the function from start-to-finish, taking responsibility to deliver on new controls and process improvements.

• Manage the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Oversee vendor relationships and address any queries or discrepancies effectively.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
• Prepare and analyse accounts payable reports for senior management.
• Supervise and support the accounts payable team to achieve departmental goals.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve processes and resolve issues.
• Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Contribute to the implementation of new systems or process improvements in the accounting and finance department.

A successful AP Manager should have:

• Strong experience in managing accounts payable processes.
• Previous experience using Microsoft Dynamics D365 is highly desirable.
• Proven knowledge of accounting and finance principles.

• Ability to lead and develop a team effectively.
• Proficiency in relevant accounting software and systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
