At our Kassel location, we will soon be looking for an Application Support Engineer to support applications in the areas of Planning, Forecasting & Pricing.

WHAT WILL YOU DO


Ensuring stable operation and ongoing development of applications in the areas of Planning, Forecasting & Pricing Independent management of incidents, problems, and changes Execution of updates, patches, and release management Monitoring of systems and interfaces, ensuring compliance with IT security and regulatory requirements Close collaboration with key users, business analysts, and product owners to clarify and implement requirements Support in IT planning, cost monitoring, and contract management Execution of testing activities within maintenance tasks and project contexts Contribution to the design of technical solutions and project support (e.g. harmonization and modernization of the IT landscape) Continuous optimization of processes and workflows

WHAT WILL YOU BRING


Completed degree in (Business) Informatics or a comparable qualification relevant experience in Application Support or Application Management Experience in operating and further developing applications, ideally in a regulated environment Knowledge of Incident / Problem / Change Management (ITIL) and Test Management Technical expertise in Windows and/or Linux server environments and common application servers (e.g. Tomcat, Wildfly, IIS) Basic understanding of cloud architecture and SaaS/PaaS Knowledge of interface and integration technologies Ideally, basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g.

Java, C#)

Excellent command of English, both written and spoken Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style, along with a strong willingness to take ownership of assigned applications Strong teamwork and communication skills
