Join our inclusive, innovative team as an Application Architect. You'll design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable application architectures, aligning technology with business needs while guiding development teams and ensuring software quality.

You will be responsible for:

Leading, designing and maintaining application architecture. Defining standards, guidelines, and best practices. Working with analysts, developers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. Leading architecture reviews and mentor development teams. Recommending tools, technologies, and frameworks. Ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and security standards. Documenting designs and technical specifications. Troubleshooting and resolving architectural issues. Supporting migration, modernization, and integration initiatives.

Skills & Experience:

Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Significant experience in leading software development and architecture application migration, modernization and integration initiatives. Documenting of high level designs, system work flows and technical specifications. Strong grasp of architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, layered, serverless). Expert knowledge of big data tools (Kafka, Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to provide guidance on technology recommendations. Proficiency in Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps. Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases, APIs, Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Ability to present project updates to Senior Leadership and collaborate with stakeholders effectively to enable requirements gathering.

TPT operates a hybrid working pattern including 2 days in the office in Leeds.
