Our Applied Science practice helps governing bodies and clients worldwide in achieving their security objectives while upholding each project's aesthetic, functional and budgetary goals. As a recognized leader in security services - with more than 60 years of experience - we collaborate with clients and project teams to develop physical, technical and operational security solutions for facilities of every type, use and size. Our engineers specialise in the design of buildings and infrastructure to protect against hostile acts and accident scenarios.

The Role

We have opportunities for Civil or Structural Graduate Engineers to join our Applied Science Practice. The position involves design, assessment and conducting numerical analysis to support our case studies and client base.

Responsibilities

Conduct code based design assessments. Perform linear and non-linear dynamic analysis on engineering problems. Conduct detailed structural analysis on a wide variety of problems, covering facilities, site-planning and infrastructure to support design decisions. Support in the development of engineering reports and presentations for clients

Requirements

Ability to work independently and autonomously with minimal supervision. Understanding of structural and civil engineering design practices and standards. These roles will require the ability to obtain UK Security Clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelors or higher degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or a closely related subject area.
