Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Appointed Person (Lifting Operations) in Scotland to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing all lifting operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and optimizing operational efficiency.
Planning and Coordination:
Develop detailed lifting plans, conduct risk assessments, and ensure all operations are executed safely and efficiently.Compliance:
Ensure all lifting activities comply with relevant health and safety legislation, standards, and guidelines.Team Management:
Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, and site supervisors to execute lifting operations effectively.Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of lifting plans, risk assessments, and safety briefings.Problem-Solving:
Address and resolve any issues that arise during lifting operations promptly and effectively.Qualifications
Certification:
CPCS Accredited Appointed Person (Lifting Operations)Experience:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the construction or heavy industry sectors.Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of lifting operations, equipment, and health and safety regulations.Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Flexibility:
Willingness to travel to various sites across Scotland/North East as required. Will be required to stay away from home as/when needed.Benefits
