Job Description

We are an Independent Asset Finance Broker based in Bristol and are currently recruiting for a Business Development/ Marketing Executive to join our small but highly successful team within a dynamic working environment.

The candidate will be expected to create, build and maintain strong relationships with Clients, Introducers, Vendors and Funding Partners and look to add real value in creating a portfolio of new clients/businesses. As well as strong communication skills you will need to be confident, positive, hard-working, enjoy building rapport with all our partners with an outstanding attention to detail. Social media marketing experience would be beneficial.

A Business Development Executive, is a professional who focuses on growing a business and extending the reach of its products or services in order to increase revenue. You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers and overseeing sales. You will work to satisfy customers' needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented.

The duties include identifying new sales leads, pitching a company's goods and services and building and maintaining strong relationships with new clients and suppliers, that will then become a customer base of both new and existing customers to be managed and meet the customers' expectations.

Requirements and Skills



Sales & Business Development



Identify and pursue new sales leads via phone, email, LinkedIn and networking events Build strong, long-term relationships with clients, funders, introducers and vendor partners Promote the company's services to SMEs through targeted outreach Support the Operations Manager in structuring finance proposals and understanding client needs Assist in reviewing company accounts to understand lending suitability Maintain accurate client records and track pipeline activity using our CRM system Help achieve sales targets

Marketing & Communications



Plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns using social media, email and digital tools Help define customer profiles and tailor communications to their needs Assist in developing our online presence across LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook Monitor and report on marketing campaign effectiveness using digital analytics Create engaging, brand-aligned content (graphics, posts, emails) Support the development and maintenance of our website and e-marketing efforts Ensure all marketing materials are accurate, compliant and reflect our tone of voice

Compliance & Learning



Complete mandatory training modules including NACFB compliance and FCA regulatory understanding Keep up to date with industry trends in finance, marketing and asset lending Learn how to assess credit risks and prepare funding documents Contribute to maintaining our high standards of ethical, compliant business practice

Skills & Attributes



Excellent written and verbal communication Confidence using social media for business (especially LinkedIn) Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Creative thinking and an interest in digital marketing A proactive, self-motivated attitude Comfortable with phone and face-to-face interactions Ability to prioritise, juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Desirable Experience



Sales, telesales or customer-facing background Any prior experience with marketing tools (e.g. Canva, Mailchimp, CRM systems) Interest in business, finance, or banking

The Apprenticeship



You'll be supported to complete the

Level 4 Marketing Executive Apprenticeship

, which covers:

Marketing principles, strategy, and customer lifecycle Content creation, campaign management and analysis Brand positioning and communications Legal, ethical and data protection in marketing Using digital tools to track performance and customer engagement And more
Duration: approx. 15-18 months (inclusive of End Point assessment Gateway period)
Delivery: Remote workshops with support from a dedicated marketing tutor
Outcome: Recognised Level 4 qualification - equivalent to the first year of a bachelors degree

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: 18,000.00-21,000.00 per year

Monday to Friday
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bristol BS15 9QQ
