The Board of Directors of the Romero Catholic Academy Trust alongside The Governors of All Saints' RC High School are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Business Support Officer to join our team.
An Apprentice Business Support Officer is required to join our busy school office, to provide front line administrative support. The successful candidate will be working within the Main School Office and will support the school providing routine support to teachers, pupils and parents.
This role will be fast-paced and varied and will involve handling a wide range of administration responsibilities

Under direction/instruction of the School Operations Manager, to provide routine clerical/administrative/word processing/financial support to the school. This could include producing and formatting letters/documents, the filing and scanning of documents and supporting the with low level administration tasks. The role will involve the use of a range of software packages.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities - appropriate for this post:
- Provide general clerical and administrative support, including word processing, minute taking, filing routine correspondence, distributing mail, basic reprographics.
- Undertake reception and general office duties including responding to pupil enquiries, answering telephones and responding to routine queries including, where appropriate, dealing with visitors on behalf of the Headteacher.
- Maintaining and updating manual and computerised records including, for example, records of free school meals, school trips, registers etc including related data input.
- Maintaining stock and ordering supplies, including the processing of orders, check of incoming deliveries, obtaining prices from occasional suppliers and the distribution and storage of stock.
- General welfare support, where required, including liaison with staff and parents.
- Supporting with the planning and preparation of all school events including parents' evening, taster days, awards evening, open evenings etc as required.
