An opportunity has become available for an Apprentice Butcher at Scott Brothers.
The Job.
Scott Brothers are based in Dundee and employ over 70 local people. The apprenticeship will teach the successful candidate all aspects of the trade which include, customer service, boning techniques and manufacturing skills. You will learn all the basics of being a butcher.
What we expect.
We are looking for someone with a "can do" attitude, and the ability to follow instructions exactly. Preferably with an interest in food, applicants must demonstrate a willingness to learn. This is a physically demanding trade therefore it is essential the applicant is physically able. We aim to give our customers an experience on every visit, the successful applicant will play a massive part in this role, so applicants should be presentable and have a polite, friendly nature.
The successful candidate will be offered a 2 year apprenticeship, in which time they should have completed a SVQ Level 2 qualification. A full time position may be offered at the end of training depending on the standard reached in training and the requirements of the business at that time.

Pay: 7.55-8.00 per hour
