The Opportunity
We're looking for an
Apprentice Care Assistant
to join our friendly and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to start your career in care -- you'll learn on the job, gain a recognised qualification, and make a real difference to people's lives every day.
As an apprentice, you'll receive full training and ongoing support to help you develop your skills and confidence. You'll be part of a caring, close-knit team that works together to deliver high-quality care to our residents.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be supported to learn and take on tasks such as:
Personal care:
Helping residents with washing, dressing, and daily routines -- always treating them with dignity and respect.
Mobility and support:
Assisting residents to move safely around the home and supporting their independence.
Emotional care:
Providing companionship, reassurance, and a listening ear.
Daily life:
Encouraging residents to take part in social activities and enjoy a sense of community.
Household help:
Keeping rooms tidy and assisting with mealtimes and refreshments.
Teamwork:
Working alongside experienced carers, nurses, and managers to ensure residents receive the very best care.
About You
You don't need previous experience -- what matters most is your
kindness, reliability, and willingness to learn

We're looking for someone who:
Has a caring and patient nature
Enjoys working with people and making a difference
Is a good communicator and a great listener
Can work as part of a team
Is happy to work alternate weekends
If you already have some experience in care or an interest in health and social care, that's a bonus -- but it's not essential.
