About the role:
An apprentice carpenter, entry-level position working under the guidance of a more experienced tradesman whilst working as part of a team to deliver responsive maintenance to our domestic dwellings. This includes work normally accepted within the building industry as that of a carpenter. Over the course of the apprenticeship, the learner will be trained to work independently and without immediate supervision in an efficient and safe manner. The Learner will be required to already be working towards their level 3 carpentry qualifications and will be
released from duties as required to continue this.
A driving licence would also be an advantage to the applicant but not essential.

What you will do:
Work alongside experience members of the team to develop skills and knowledge in carpentry and other housing maintenance skills.
Take part in a full range of onsite and classroom-based training to develop knowledge.
Work towards gaining Level 3 in carpentry.
Take an active role in the team and the service we provide.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Pay: 12.60 per hour
Expected hours: 37 per week
