Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the carpentry trade while working alongside skilled professionals. The Carpenter Apprentice will assist in various tasks related to fabrication, assembly, and construction projects, learning essential skills that will lay the foundation for a successful career in carpentry.

Responsibilities

Assist in the fabrication and assembly of wooden structures and components. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision. Participate in roofing projects, ensuring proper installation and safety measures are followed. Support joinery tasks, including cutting, shaping, and fitting materials. Engage in construction painting as required, ensuring high-quality finishes. Aid in plumbing and masonry tasks as needed on job sites. Perform heavy lifting as necessary to assist with material handling. Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency.

Experience

Previous experience or knowledge of carpentry, fabrication, or construction is beneficial but not essential. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools is advantageous. Basic understanding of roofing techniques, joinery practices, plumbing, masonry, or electrical work is a plus. A willingness to learn and develop skills within the carpentry trade is essential. Candidates should be physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting as required by the role.
