.The Lamb Inn is an 18th Century country pub and restaurant just outside the West Oxfordshire market town of Witney within very easy reach of the beautiful Cotswold countryside and villages.

We're a welcoming, traditional pub with a cosy atmosphere, hearty food, and the kind of friendly service that keeps you coming back. Inside, you'll find a roaring fire in the bar and low beamed ceilings that add to our charm.
Our pub garden is made for every season. In the warmer months, it's a true suntrap - perfect for long lunches and cold pints. Our terraces, spread over three levels, offer plenty of space to relax, each one covered so you can enjoy alfresco dining whatever the weather.
As an Apprentice Commis Chef you will:
Actively learn and develop your food preparation and cooking skills
Complete a Commis Chef Apprenticeship Standard whilst working and being developed in a dynamic business
Be encouraged to become involved in menu design and presentation, identifying future food trends and supporting the high service values of the business
Learn about the importance of effective food costing and the management of ingredients to deliver fabulous dishes from excellent locally produced produce
Engage in all aspects of Health and Safety required and essential to the restaurant sector

The Lamb Inn is open at the following times: Wednesday - Saturday 11am-10:30pm
Sunday 11am-4:30pm
Closed Monday & Tuesdays.
Competitive rates of pay with bonuses

Completing a Level 2 Commis Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship within the workplace
