Looking to start your career in dentistry? We've got a great opportunity for an Apprentice Dental Nurse to join our welcoming and supportive team at Hest Bank Dental Care.


We're a fully private practice just outside Lancaster, well-known in the local community for our high standard of care. We offer a wide range of treatments, from Implants and Orthodontics to Facial Aesthetics and Smilefast.

What Does an Apprentice Dental Nurse Do?

As an Apprentice Dental Nurse, you'll be learning on the job while studying for your qualification. You'll play a vital role in supporting our clinicians and making sure every patient has a positive experience.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Assisting the dentist during a wide variety of treatments Preparing and sterilising instruments and equipment Setting up treatment rooms ahead of appointments Keeping patient records up to date Making patients feel comfortable, informed, and at ease Following all health and safety and infection control protocols Learning the theory and practical skills needed to qualify as a dental nurse

You'll be supported by a friendly team who'll help you build confidence, develop skills, and succeed both at work and in your studies.

What You Can Expect:

Working Hours: up to 40 hours a week. Typical shifts are 8am-5:30pm, with one evening a week until 8pm.Earlier Friday finish and occasional Sat am Paid Study Time: We'll support your learning and allow dedicated time for your coursework and exams. All the Basics Covered: We provide your uniform and will cover the costs of your GDC registration once qualified. Career Growth: This is just the beginning.
