We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate trainee Dental Nurse to join our fully private dental practice in the heart of Heswall. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental clinic. This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and proficiency in IT systems relevant to dental practice management.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared.
Provide high-quality patient care by reassuring patients, answering their questions, and addressing any concerns they may have.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is completed in accordance with practice protocols.
Sterilise instruments and maintain a clean and organised clinical environment to adhere to health and safety regulations.
Manage appointment schedules, including booking and confirming patient visits while minimising waiting times.
Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure a seamless patient experience from arrival to departure.
Stay updated with advancements in dental practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Reception duties as and when required.
Experience
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care with a compassionate approach.
Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and utilising dental software systems.
Highly organised with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
