We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with young children in a nursery setting. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children aged 0-5 years. You will play a crucial role in supporting children's learning, development, and well-being while fostering positive relationships with families.
Although experience is an advantage, it is not necessary. We will teach you all you need to know and we will support you in every way for you to obtain your Level 3 Nursery qualification with us. You will learn whilst you earn! All we need from you is a passion to work with children.
Responsibilities
Plan and implement engaging educational activities that cater to the developmental needs of children.
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children.
Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and areas for improvement.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support effective communication and collaboration.
Maintain high standards of care and hygiene within the nursery setting.
Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in early years education.
Skills
Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery environment.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.
Ability to build rapport with children, families, and colleagues effectively.
A valid driving licence is desirable for potential transportation needs related to outings or activities.
