We are looking for 2 Apprentice Electrical Fitters to join our team!

The British Electrical & Manufacturing Company Ltd (Bemco) specialises in building distribution boards, metering panels and switchboards and has an exciting opportunity for two enthusiastic Apprentice Electrical Fitters to join our dynamic team. This permanent position is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance their career in electrical manufacturing and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace.

The initial months of the first year of apprenticeship are devoted to basic training in general engineering skills followed by specialised training in preparation for the particular trade.

Providing a satisfactory standard is attained and maintained in the Works training department and at Technical College, an apprentice is given experience during the balance of his apprenticeship period of the work in various departments in the Works and the opportunity exists to attain Module Certificates for having completed elements of training to satisfaction.

The hours will be Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm and Friday 8.00am to 3.30pm per week with competitive salary and conditions. All candidates are required to have Maths and Physics to National 5 standard.
