The Opportunity: Apprentice Engineer - Level 3 Lift Truck and Powered Access Engineering Technician Apprenticeship - AmeyBriggs

Contract: Permanent

Location: Kineton

Salary: 15,704 in Year 1 (for Under 19s)

AmeyBriggs is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions for the Construction Plant and MHE within the MOD. The AmeyBriggs 3-year Apprentice Engineer training programme, gives you the opportunity to become a fully qualified Forklift Truck & Powered Access Engineer. Briggs Equipment Group Engineers fault find, maintain, service and repair, mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, located within an ever-growing range of Materials Handling and Powered Access Equipment.

The Impact you will have:

Years 1 to 3 you will complete the 3-year apprenticeship qualification: Level 3 Lift Truck and Pow-ered Access Engineering Technician Apprenticeship standard You will gain on-the job experience, starting with shadowing your mentor and other Engineers, progressing to performing tasks under supervision, then alongside qualified Engineers where your work will be checked and signed off. Work will be carried out on customer's premises and at AmeyBriggs workshop locations within your specified region.

What will help you to excel in this role:

3 GCSEs at grade 4 / C or Scottish National 5 Grade C or above in English, Science & Mathematics (or equivalent) - Desirable Enthusiasm for all aspects of engineering, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic - i.e., hobbies related to maintenance/repair, work or voluntary experience, topics studied at school/college Basic IT skills i.e., email, websites, text documents Clear, polite and professional, verbal and written communication skills, to work effectively with mentor, line manager, customers and other members of the Briggs' Equipment Group teams
