Role Overview:

To learn the skills needed to carry out planned preventative maintenance and the fault diagnosis and repair on a variety of mechanical / electrical plant and equipment including:
Electrical building tests Electrical / Mechanical plant and equipment fault finding Refrigeration and air conditioning maintenance and fault finding Steam and has heating and ventilation equipment Industrial boilers and associated pumps and controls Domestic hot water and water distribution systems Steam distribution systems Compressed air systems Condition monitoring and thermography General plumbing

Person Specification

Who you'll be:

Hold qualifications in Maths, English and a Science or craft based subject to a minimum grade C Articulate, numerate and IT literate Have good communication skills Be resilient under pressure and be able to converse confidently with staff, suppliers and customers at all levels
