As an established Apprenticeship employer, we are seeking an Apprentice Engineering Technician to join our Maintenance and Calibration Team. This apprenticeship will be multi-skilled, developing knowledge and skills in electrical and mechanical engineering whilst supporting the Production Engineering Department.
Maintenance duties will include working as part of the maintenance department, performing preventative maintenance tasks as required and attending machine breakdowns.
Further involvement in CI and engineering projects may be required as the apprenticeship progresses and level of skill increases.
Compliance duties will include ensuring complete compliance to prescribed Company Quality Standards, procedures and processes, and complying with the requirements of GDP and GMP.
You will be expected to work safely at all times to protect the health & safety of employees by following H&S procedures, ensuring that the work areas comply with all necessary health and safety regulations applicable to that area.
The successful applicant must have:
a minimum of a 5 GCSE's at grade C, which must include Maths, English and Sciences
It would be beneficial if the successful applicant had already achieved, or be working toward:
NVQ Level 2 in Performing Engineering Operations
BTEC or EAL Level 3 qualifications in Engineering

The rate of pay for this role will be compliant with National Minimum Wage legislation.
