The Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Apprentice Estimator to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone interested in construction, design, or technical pricing who wants to develop a long-term career in the glazing industry.

This is not a direct sales role. The position is fully showroom and office based, focused on producing accurate quotations from customer enquiries, drawings, and plans.

You will be trained to prepare estimates for windows, doors, and glazing projects while working closely with our experienced estimators, surveyors, and installation teams.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing accurate quotations for windows, doors, and glazing projects Produce estimates from architectural drawings, plans, and customer specifications Learn to measure and price projects using CAD and digital estimating software Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email in a professional manner Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing and lead times Maintain accurate records using our CRM and quotation systems Support the wider team with project documentation and pricing updates Develop technical knowledge of glazing systems, materials, and installation methods

What We're Looking For

A genuine interest in construction, glazing, architecture, or design Strong attention to detail and a logical, methodical approach Good numeracy skills and confidence working with measurements Comfortable using computers and learning new software Clear and professional communication skills A positive attitude and willingness to learn Minimum GCSE grade C/4 in Maths and English (required) A-Levels or equivalent qualifications are beneficial but not essential
