What You'll Be Doing

As an Apprentice Fabricator/Welder, you will:

Learn to read and interpret engineering drawings and plans Assist in fabricating steel components using cutting, bending, and welding techniques Gain experience in MIG and TIG welding under supervision Work on projects from initial fabrication to final assembly and installation Be trained in working to exacting industry standards, including health and safety procedures Collaborate with a team of skilled tradespeople and engineers
This is a hands-on role that combines on-the-job learning with formal training (through an approved apprenticeship provider), leading to industry-recognised qualifications.

What We're Looking For

A genuine interest in welding, engineering, and fabrication Good practical skills and attention to detail Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic Ability to work well in a team SVQs (or equivalent) in Maths, English, and a technical subject are desirable
