Apprentice Fabricator/Welder



We are seeking a friendly and motivated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Fabricator/Welder in our manufacturing facility in Derby in 2026.

About the Role



We are seeking a friendly and motivated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Fabricator/Welder from our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Derby. The right candidate will be eager to develop their skills and knowledge in Engineering. In return we can offer long-term career progression, a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

We are looking for an approachable and self-motivated individual, with a desire to learn and progress, a good attendance and timekeeper, and live within a commutable distance.

You must have a minimum of grade 4 in GCSE English and Maths and will ideally hold (or be working towards) a full, UK driving license.

As well as working full time with us, you will work towards a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering.

Key Duties and Responsibilities



On a day-to-day basis the successful applicant will be working within the fabrication and welding side of the business, under the wing of several department heads:

Welding Fabrication Fitting and assembly Inspection General production engineering
Other training provided includes abrasive wheels and crane courses. Manual handling training will be offered, applicants must be physically fit due to the nature of the role.
