Job Summary



Duties will include customer facing general administration for primarily Commercial Clients, extending to Personal Lines Clients.

Lines of business will include Business, Property Owners, Motor and other SME insurances, in addition to Home, Car and Travel.

The job will support the customer journey for renewals and new business, from obtaining quotations, processing mid-term adjustments, issuing policy documents, and basic accounting procedures.

As a trainee, you will undertake the Insurance Practitioner apprenticeship and obtain Cert CII qualification (subject to successful application with a funding insurer).

Flexible working arrangements may be available once initial training is completed and role can be undertaken without permanent supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities



Renewal case management.

Assisting with incoming queries from customers, insurers and other third parties.

Administration of renewal documentation, renewal quotations, mid-term adjustments, new business enquiries, claims and accounting procedures.

Oral and written communications to clients, insurers and other third parties.

To ensure minimum annual CPD training is completed.

Provide support to the General Business Division as required.

Document and maintain all conversations and communications with clients and insurers on system back-office administration.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities



Prior knowledge and experience in the insurance broking industry is preferred.

Experience working on the Acturis platform is preferable but not essential (training will be provided).

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word and Excel.

Understanding and application of AI platforms are preferred.

Effective and accurate communicator both oral and written.

Effective interpersonal skills.

Ability to understand customers' needs effectively.

Ability to build effective business relationships.

Ability to learn and manage change quickly and effectively.

Ability to work supportively and jointly with colleagues.
