We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Joiner to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing various wooden and other material structures. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your carpentry expertise in a dynamic environment, contributing to a range of building projects including roofing, masonry, plumbing, and electrical installations. The ideal applicant will have a strong background in joinery and construction-related skills, with the ability to work safely and efficiently on-site.
Responsibilities
Fabricate and assemble bespoke wooden components using hand tools and power tools
Install joinery elements such as doors, windows, partitions, and cabinetry
Assist with roofing, masonry, plumbing, and electrical tasks as required
Perform heavy lifting to move materials safely around the construction site
Conduct construction painting and finishing work to meet project specifications
Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project progression
Maintain a clean and organised work environment adhering to health and safety standards
Read technical drawings and specifications accurately to execute tasks precisely
Skills
Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, and carpentry
Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, chisels, hammers, and screwdrivers
Competence in using power tools including drills, sanders, and saws
Strong knowledge of joinery techniques and principles of carpentry
Experience with roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical work or construction painting is advantageous
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints confidently
