First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) have an exciting opportunity for a brilliant, enthusiastic person to join our team as an Apprentice Joiner.

Through a combination of college lessons and on-the-job training you will learn while you earn, working alongside a team of skilled and experienced colleagues to gain knowledge and skills working within our customers homes:
Repairing walls, doorframes, skirting boards or plaster damage to internal walls
Preparing of timber moulds for the manufacture of precast products
Measuring out on material from blueprints, drawings, or samples
Working on window and door repairs, kitchens fitting, flooring replacement and general joinery assigned tasks
Laying out marks
Eligibility Criteria:
You will need to have/be predicted to have 4 GCSEs at grade 3 or above. Maths and English must be a grade 4 or predicted grade 4. You must also be able and willing to travel daily to Oldham for work and to Oldham College once a week. You must either hold a full driving licence or be willing and committed to gaining this in the near future.
