We are seeking a proactive, enthusiastic, and personable
Lettings Negotiator Apprentice
to join our dynamic team within a reputable residential property agency. This fully paid apprenticeship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a recognised qualification in property and lettings.
You will be supported through structured training and on-the-job learning, developing the skills needed to build client relationships, assist with property transactions, and deliver outstanding customer service. This role is ideal for someone passionate about property, eager to learn, and motivated to build a long-term career in the lettings industry.
Key Responsibilities
With training and support, the apprentice will:
Engage with prospective tenants and applicants to understand their requirements and preferences
Assist with and conduct property viewings, providing accurate and professional information to clients
Support negotiations between tenants and landlords to help secure successful agreements
Carry out administrative tasks including preparing documentation, updating records, and maintaining client databases
Assist with marketing properties through online portals, social media platforms, and internal systems
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals
Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth lettings processes from initial enquiry through to move-in
Learn about market trends, rental values, and relevant legislation affecting the lettings sector
Ensure all work is completed in line with company procedures and professional standards
Skills & Qualifications
No previous experience required - full training will be provided
Previous administrative or customer service experience is desirable but not essential
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional manner
Ability to build rapport quickly with a wide range of clients
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Willingness to learn, take feedback, and develop new skills
A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving
Multilingual skills are an advantage but not essential
A valid UK driving licence is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to travel between properties when required
