Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a
Modern Apprentice in Engineering Maintenance
at our Bellshill facility. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a nationally recognised engineering qualification.The Role:
Working alongside experienced engineers, the successful candidate will assist in maintaining factory machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous production.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Assisting with the maintenance, servicing, and repair of factory machinery Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Assisting with fault-finding on mechanical and electrical systems Supporting breakdown repairs to minimise downtime Adhering to all health & safety procedures Completing basic maintenance documentation
Qualifications & Skills Required:
A minimum of
National 5 Grade B or above
in: English Mathematics Physics One practical subject (e.g. Engineering Science, Practical Woodworking, Practical Metalworking, or similar) A strong interest in engineering and maintenance Good practical and problem-solving skills Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a teamWhat We Offer:
