APPRENTICE MANUFACTURING PRODUCTION PLANNER

LOCATION: Glasgow

REPORTING TO: PRODUCTION MANAGER

An exciting opportunity to be a part of a small family run business, established in 2010, who remanufacture Turbos. A brand-new position into the company. A critical role, supporting the continued growth.

We are now seeking an apprentice to work with and assist the Production Manager

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Studying with the Institute of Supply Chain Management towards a Diploma in Manufacturing and Production Management alongside on the job learning in our Production Facility in Glasgow.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right person to grow with the business and learn skills on the way.

Working closely with our production manager to ensure smooth operations across the factory and understand demand planning and production scheduling. All areas of parts supplier, international importing, stock control and many areas of the business.

We have a great track record in developing young people, having recruited 4 apprentices over the last 10 years and all of them are still in the business having advanced their careers, our Commercial Director having started as an apprentice 10 years ago!

The job is fast paced and every day will be different

No previous experience necessary, Applications from School leavers are welcome

Applicants must have Higher Maths at C or above or National 5 level Maths A or B minimum along with National 5 A or B in Technical or Science subjects

Job Type: Apprenticeship

Pay: 21,000.00-30,000.00 per year
