We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team.
This role requires a passion for working with children and an eagerness to learn.
No experience required, training provided with an apprenticeship.
Must have a good level of English.
Work Location: SS16 6EZ.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Apprentice nursery / childminding assistant
Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with dietary requirements.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
Assist children with daily routines such as dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene.
Encourage positive behaviour through effective guidance and support.
Maintain a clean and organised environment, ensuring toys and equipment are safe and well-maintained. Cleaning of kitchen, bathrooms, communal areas, including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning & disinfecting of surfaces and windows.
Experience
Previous experience in childcare or a related field is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
A genuine love for working with children and an active interest in their developmental needs.
Strong communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently.
First Aid certification is desirable but can be obtained upon hiring.
For this role you must undergo Ofsted vetting. Part of this includes DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential.
These checks typically include:
Identity Verification: Passport, photo ID, birth certificate, etc.
Employment History (past 3 years): Any gaps will require HMRC statements for the period in question.
Right to Work Status in the UK: Citizenship or valid share code.
Unspent Criminal Record: Disclosure of any unspent convictions.
Significant Periods Abroad: Any periods of 6+ months spent abroad in the past 3 years.
