We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education and eager to develop their skills in a supportive nursery environment. As an Apprentice, you will assist in providing high-quality care and education to children, fostering their development through engaging activities and nurturing relationships.

Responsibilities

Assist in the planning and implementation of educational activities that promote children's learning and development. Support the daily care routines of children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and happiness. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues in English to build positive relationships. Help manage the nursery environment, ensuring it is clean, safe, and stimulating for all children. Observe and record children's progress, reporting any concerns to senior staff members. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance your professional development. Demonstrate leadership qualities by guiding younger or less experienced staff when required.

Requirements

A keen interest in childcare and early childhood education is essential. Previous experience working with children in a nursery setting is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively engage with children and families. Ability to drive or travel as necessary for nursery-related activities may be beneficial. A willingness to learn and develop leadership skills within a team-oriented environment. Relevant qualifications or a desire to pursue qualifications in Early Childhood Education would be beneficial.
