----------------------------
Job description
Crookesbroom Primary Academy are looking to appoint an Apprentice Nursery Nurse to join our academy in September 2025 on a part time, temporary basis.
Do you want to work for a Trust that is transforming educational outcomes for students in some of the most deprived areas in the North of England? If so, this could be the role for you.
Your new role
As an apprentice you are encouraged to work as part of the team to gain as much practical experience as possible throughout the duration of your course. During your apprenticeship you will report to the EYFS teacher/Lead EYFS Practitioner.
Under supervision you will work under the direct instruction of EYFS teacher/Lead EYFS Practitioner or support staff. You will provide high quality care within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) setting that meets professional inspection standards.
You will study towards the NVQ Level 3 Early Years Educator. There is an expectation you will attend all college sessions and complete assignments on time.
We want to attract the best apprentices to work in Delta Academies Trust, as such we pay above the national apprenticeship pay rates for all apprentices. You don't have to wait for a year to be paid your age related National Minimum Wage, we pay this from your first day with us, but we will not pay below 9.00 per hour.
Please see the attached job description on our website for the essential criteria and more information on the role.
If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience required for this position, then we would very much like to hear from you.
