Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Apprentice Nursery Nurse to join our team at Tern Valley Day Nursery. As an Apprentice Nursery Nurse, you'll work alongside experienced early years proffesionals while studying towards a nationally recognised childcare qualification. You'll support the day to day running of the nursery, helping create a safe, stimulating environment where children can learn and thrive.

Responsibilities

Assist with the palnning and delivery of engaging activities based on the EYFS framework Support children's physical, emotional and social development Help maintain a clean, safe and caring environment Build positive relationships with children, parents and staff Observe and assess children's progress, keeping accurate records of their development under guidance Follow safeguarding and health and safety policies at all times

About You:

We're looking for someone who is:

Passionate about working with young children Eager to learn and develop new skills A good communicator and team player Reliable, caring and patient Willing to work towards a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education

Qualifications & Requirments:

GCSE's in English and Maths (preferred but not essential) Must be eligible for an apprenticeship A genuine interest in childcare and early years development
